The Green Archers failed to advance into the next round of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League after succumbing 56-63 at the hands of the Adamson Falcons earlier today in Cebu City.

Initially though, it was La Salle that took over the game by grabbing an early 15-11 advantage which they even extended to six at 27-21 by halftime.

It is at the start of the third where the Falcons turned the game into a contest as they ignited a 7-2 run that prompted coach Gee Abanilla to call a timeout. The Green Archers ended the third canto ahead 39-34.

Despite the gap, the Falcons refused to give up. Tying the game at 46-all, the UAAP Season 75′s sixth placers wasted no time in taking over the match.

The Falcons snatched the lead before Roider Cabrera sealed the win with his two dagger treys.

Entering this game, La Salle suffered a huge blow as rookie point guard Thomas Torres sprained his ankle that sidelined him alongside LA Revilla, Luigi dela Paz and Mac Tallo.

The loss officially wraps-up the Green Archers’ campaign this year which was highlighted by a 4th-place finish in UAAP Season 75.
