The Green Archers cruised past the San Sebastian Stags 90-74 to remain undefeated in the Filoil Flying V Preseason.
Jeron Teng broke out of his shooting slump to start the tournament as he led all scorers with 17 points. Gabby Reyes continued his superb play with 13 points while Arnold Van Opstal and Thomas Torres added 11 and 10 respectively.
After a close first period, La Salle outscored the Stags 32-20 to erect a 13-point lead at the half. They never looked back throughout the rest of the game.
Rookies Kib Montalbo and Robert Bolick tallied for 9 and 5 points respectively while both grabbing 3 boards. Both players played extensive minutes as Almond Vosotros suffered an ankle sprain early in the second quarter.
La Salle dominated the rebound department 58 to 37 and shot 80% from the free throw stripe.
The Green Archers continue to lead Group B at 3-0 and will next face the Lyceum Pirates on May 10.
The rebuilding Stags were led by Jovit De la Cruz who topscored with 14 markers.
