The Junior Archers advance to the stepladder round as they trounced the FEU-FERN Baby Tams 66-60 this morning in a knock-out match. Gabby Reyes carried the load for DLSZ he led the team with 29 points and 11 rebounds.
As the 4th seed, the Junior Archers will next face the NU Bullpups in another knock-out game this Tuesday. The winner will then need to beat 2nd seed UST twice to make it to the championship round against Ateneo. The defending champion Blue Eaglets are already in the finals by sweeping eliminations.
A tall order indeed for the Junior Archers but it can be done. One game at a time.
