Rookie Jason Perkins scored 20 points to lead the Green Archers to a 91-63 beating of the EAC Generals today at the Fil-Oil Flying-V Preseason.
Perkins also registed 11 rebounds and was 2-of-2 from beyond the arc. Jeron Teng added 11 points while Norbert Torres and Oda Tampus each chipped in 10 markers to lead a balanced scoring attack for La Salle as they remain undefeated in 5 outings.
Unlike their previous physical encounter against LPU, it was a more free-flowing match wherein the Green Archers scored 22 fastbreak points and shot almost 50% from the field. The team dictated the tempo right from the start, building a 12-point lead after the first period and never yielded control the rest of the way.
Noube Happi and Jan Jamon each scored 14 points to top score for the still winless Generals.
The Green Archers will next face UE on May 25.
