Lady Archers clinch twice-to-beat in Final 4. Junior Archers’ semis hopes in peril

Lady Archers

The De La Salle Lady Archers defeated NU 75-64 last Sunday as they clinch the twice-to-beat edge in the Final 4. Earlier last week, they defeated UST, 63-55. The team ends their elimination round campaign with an 11-3 record, second behind undefeated FEU (13-0). The Lady Tamaraws, who will face NU this Sunday, are a win away from an outright finals berth.

The Lady Archers will battle Adamson in the semis.

The Junior Archers’ Final Four hopes suffered a major blow as they lost to Ateneo 92-80 last Sunday. DLSZ, who is at fifth place at 5-7 needs to win their last two games against FEU (September 19) and UPIS (September 23) and hope that ADMU (7-5) loses their last two games against Adamson and UST.

The team also lost a close 77-76 decision to NU last Thursday.
