It was a no-bearing match, a game they were expected to win easily. But what makes the Lady Spikers the most successful volleyball team in recent years is that they treat every game, every opponent just as important as any other.
Ara Galang scored 16 points while Abi Marano and Mika Reyes added 11 points each as La Salle crushed winless UE 25-11, 25-13, 25-15 to close out their elimination round with an 13-1 record.
The Lady Spikers, who’s only loss in the season came at the hands of UST on opening day, will be entering the Final 4 as the number one seed. They will face either UST or NU in the semis.
In the mens division, the Green Spikers defeated UST 25-18, 26-24, 25-8 to clinch the 3rd seed in the Final 4.
