It was business as usual for the Lady Spikers as they continue to steamroll past the competition with another three-set win over Adamson last Saturday 25-9 25-19 25-13.
Team captain Abi Maraño had another solid performance, finishing the game with 12 points and 4 blocks. Ara Galang and Mika Reyes added 11 and 9 points respectively for Lady Spikers, which matched their previous record of 25 consecutive UAAP victories set two years ago.
The team looks to extend the stream on Wednesday when they face the FEU Lady Tamraraws.
The Green Spikers bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to Ateneo last Wednesday with a five-set win over UST yesterday 17-25 26-24 27-25 20-25 15-9. They improve to 4-6, tied with the Growling Tigers at 5th place.
The Green Batters continue their dominance this season as they defeated UST 16-7 yesterday to remain undefeated at 6-0.
The Lady Batters absorbed back-to-back defeats this weak, 4-5 vs NU last Wednesday and 6-7 vs UST three days later.
The Green Booters lost to UP 3-1 yesterday. They remain at the third spot in the standings.
The DLSU Tennis teams swept all their games over the weekend. The Green Tennisters defeated UST (4-1) and UE (4-1) while the Lady Tennisters scored victories over ADMU (4-1) and UST (3-2).
