The new-look La Salle Men’s Football opened up their UAAP campaign on a real high yesterday as they defeated Ateneo 5-1 on their own home turf.
Rookies Alfredo Bustamante and Derrico Diamante scored two goals each while another freshman Junpei Ogawa had one. Bustamante scored in the 20th and 61st minutes while Diamante’s two goals came at the 55th and 86th. Ogawa’s lone goal came in the 38th minute.
Ateneo’s only goal came in the 42nd minute.
